prices

All prices stated on the websites of Quinta da Encavalada Turismo LDA are in euros and include the VAT rate applicable in Portugal. The municipality of Tábua and Oliveira do Hospital do not charge tourist tax.

Booking, payment/cancellation of rental accommodations

Your reservation will be converted into a definitive booking as soon as we have received 25% of the total rental price from you by bank transfer. We will receive the remaining 75% no later than 6 weeks before arrival. If you book within 6 weeks before your arrival date, you must pay the total rental amount before arrival. You will find payment instructions in the reservation confirmation that we will send you by email. In the event of no-show, earlier than scheduled departure or cancellation, monies paid will not be refunded. It may therefore be advisable to take out cancellation insurance.

Smoking/Open fire

In dry summers, Portugal is regularly ravaged by forest fires. That is why open fire/barbecuing on charcoal and walking around the grounds while smoking are strictly prohibited in the summer. We demand that the instructions about this in the house information folders are followed strictly and without discussion. Violators may be asked to leave the site immediately.

No deposit

Because we operate on the principle of “giving trust = gaining trust”, we do not ask for a deposit. We count on you to report any damage to our property and inventory honestly and in this case to take responsibility if compensation is appropriate.

Liability

Quinta da Encavalada, Turismo, LDA is not liable for damage, loss, theft or injury during your stay on our property or when using the available facilities.
